Mr. Stagg: Information on Emmet Stagg  Zoom on Emmet Stagg   I move amendment No. 15:

In page 13, subsection (2), line 43, to delete “seven” and substitute “fourteen”.

Section 15 provides that all terms of the contract should be communicated to the intending consumer before the contract is completed. Paragraph (2) (a) allows an exception in the case of last minute bookings. The Bill allows seven days within which this exception may follow. Following representations from the trade and with the agreement of the Director of Consumer Affairs, this amendment will increase this period to fourteen days.

Amendment agreed to.

Section 15, as amended, agreed to.

Sections 16 to 19, inclusive, agreed to.
