The PRESIDENT:
I move for leave to introduce a Bill entitled “An Act to amend and extend the Housing Act, 1925.” The Short Title is “The Housing Bill, 1926.”
Mr. LYONS:
I would like to ask the President if the Bill is in the interests of the tenants. Is it to amend the Rent Restrictions Act or the Housing Act?
The PRESIDENT:
The Housing Act.
Mr. CORISH:
Is this Bill to extend the facilities already provided under the other Housing Acts?
Leave given. Bill read a first time. Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, June 16th.
