The following Resolution was reported from the Committee on Finance:—
(1) That the duty imposed by Section 1 of the Finance (Customs Duties) Act, 1931 (No. 14 of 1931), shall be charged, levied, and paid on all butter imported into Saorstát Eireann on or after the 1st day of April, 1934, at the rate of 8d. per pound in lieu of the rate mentioned in the said section.
(2) It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect by virtue of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1927 (No. 7 of 1927).
