The President:
It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 1 and 2. Public business will not be interrupted at 12 o'clock to take Private Deputies' business. When business as ordered is finished the Dáil will adjourn until Wednesday next, 24th February.
General Mulcahy:
What do we understand by “business as ordered”?
The President:
Business as ordered.
An Ceann Comhairle:
Nos. 1 and 2.
Mr. MacDermot:
Does that mean that we will sit as long as is necessary to finish it to-day?
The President:
I think we had better wait and see how the debate progresses. We will interrupt business before 12 o'clock, if necessary, to move for an extended sitting.
