Mr. Doyle:
asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state if and when an air mail service is likely to be introduced between the Irish Free State and Great Britain, and if he will state whether any conferences have taken place with the British General Post Office on this subject.
Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Traynor):
I am not in a position at the moment to state when an air mail service between the Irish Free State and Great Britain is likely to be introduced. Conferences on the subject have, however, taken place with the British Post Office, but a decision has not yet been reached.
