Order of Business.
The order is, No. 1, then Fisheries, resumed, then No. 2—Court Officers Bill; then resume on Estimates, Votes 67 to 26, inclusive.
Committee on Finance. - Court Officers Bill, 1945—Second Stage.
Does the Deputy consider that solicitors are court officers?
There was a Vote before the House for these courts and the matter was discussed. I do not want the discussion re-opened on what happens in the courts.
Committee on Finance. - Vote 67—Employment and Emergency Schemes.
The Parliamentary Secretary to conclude.
On Vote No. 67 only. Votes Nos. 9 and 10 go together later.
Votes Nos. 9 and 10 go together.
Committee on Finance. - Vote 9—Office of Public Works.
Votes Nos. 9, 10 and 11 may be taken together.
Would not the remarks of the Deputy be more relevant to the previous Vote?
The previous Vote dealt with land improvement schemes.
The Chair presumes that the Deputy does not desire to reopen Vote No. 67 and discuss farm improvement schemes.
That would seem to relate to farm improvements.
Farm improvements could have been legitimately discussed half an hour ago.
That would have been quite in order on the previous Vote.
That is the concern of Local Government.
