Mr. Cogan:
asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will take steps to arrange for the withdrawal or modification of the restrictions on the use of electricity by seed assemblers for the purpose of processing and dressing cereal seeds.
Mr. Lemass:
There are no restrictions at present on the use of electricity for industrial purposes. Should it be necessary at any time to reimpose restrictions affecting industry, consideration will be given to representations from any persons engaged in the production or processing of essential commodities.
