General MacEoin:
A form of application has been issued to Mrs. Cecilia Ahearne, Carrigeen, Croaghta Park, Glasheen Road, Cork, widow of the late ex-Captain Joseph Ahearne, to enable her to claim an allowance under the Army Pensions Act, 1927, as amended by the Army Pensions Act, 1943. When the completed form is returned, I will have the case referred to the Army Pensions Board for immediate consideration.
