Mr. Dillon: Information on James Matthew Dillon  Zoom on James Matthew Dillon  asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is aware that table poultry are no longer bought by the Ministry of Food in Great Britain, but are sold through ordinary trade channels at market prices; and, if so, why he deplores absence of price agreement in respect of fowl sold on the British market.

Mr. Walsh:  Yes, I am aware of the position in regard to the sale of our poultry on the British market, but I would remind the Deputy that I did not deplore the fact that the sale of our poultry is no longer controlled in Britain.

Mr. Dillon: Information on James Matthew Dillon  Zoom on James Matthew Dillon  Ah! Is this the same kind of error into which I fell in believing that the Minister had at one time stated in the House that he was in favour of compulsory tillage?

An Ceann Comhairle: Information on Patrick Hogan  Zoom on Patrick Hogan  That is not a supplementary question.

Mr. Dillon: Information on James Matthew Dillon  Zoom on James Matthew Dillon  It was just that there was a remarkable similarity.
