Mr. J. Larkin: Information on Denis Larkin  Zoom on Denis Larkin  asked the Taoiseach if he will state the number, nationality and countries of consignment of oil tankers discharging in the State, and the quantity of oil involved, in 1955 and up to the latest available date in 1956.

Mr. O'Sullivan: Information on Denis O'Sullivan  Zoom on Denis O'Sullivan  Particulars of vessels entering Irish ports are recorded distinguishing country of registration, country whence arrived and net registered tonnage, but it is not possible to give particulars of the tonnage of goods actually carried by each vessel, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the relevant information under the headings available.

Following is the statement:

Numbers and net registered tonnage of ships entering Irish ports with cargoes of Petroleum Products (including their repeated voyages), distinguising country of registration of vessel and country whence arrived, in 1955 and in the period January to September, 1956.
