Mr. Tierney: Information on Patrick Tierney  Zoom on Patrick Tierney  asked the Minister for Local Government what the present position is regarding the piped water supply to the villages and districts of Toomevara and Lorrha, North Tipperary.

Mr. Blaney: Information on Neil T.C. Blaney  Zoom on Neil T.C. Blaney  Schemes for the provision of piped water supplies to Lorrha and Toomevara have been approved. I understand that the county council will soon be in a position to commence work on the Lorrha water supply, and that arrangements are in progress for the acquisition of the necessary rights for the Toomevara Scheme.
