Mr. Crinion: asked the Minister for Health (1) how many medical cards are current in the Kildare constituency, distinguishing between (a) County Kildare, (b) the Meath section of the constituency and (c) the Westmeath section; (2) how many were withdrawn in 1961; and (3) how many were reissued on representation being made.

A revision of the general medical services register in County Westmeath was carried ou in 1961; this was the first revision since 1957 and accounts for the proportionately large number of medical cards withdrawn.
