Mr. Donegan:
asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a telephone will be installed for an applicant (name and address supplied) while telephones are being installed for other applicants in his area, thus saving the considerable extra expense of [559] having to return and put in a single telephone.
Mr. J. Brennan:
The answer is yes.
Mr. Donegan:
asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs why a telephone line has not been installed for an applicant (name and address supplied) who has been waiting for a very considerable time.
Mr. J. Brennan:
The application was deferred because of pressure of urgent work necessary in the interest of subscribers generally. It is, however, included in a clearance of applications which was recently arranged for the area and which will be completed within the next few months.
