Dáil Eireann Debate
Mr. Treacy: asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of persons awaiting telephone service in South Tipperary and West Waterford; how long they have been waiting for service; and when it is likely to be provided.
Service is in course of being provided for about 120 of these and this figure includes 75 of the pre-1965 applications. It is planned to offer service during this financial year to the remainder of the pre-1965 applicants and to as many as possible of later cases.
