Mr. Corish: Information on Brendan Corish  Zoom on Brendan Corish  asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether there has in the past six months been any increase in the number of complaints by members of the public due to letters being lost in the post; and, if so, what steps he has taken to correct this situation.

Mr. J. Brennan: Information on Joseph Brennan  Zoom on Joseph Brennan  The number of complaints received during the six months ended 31st July, 1966, which is the latest date for which figures are [1394] available, shows no increase over the corresponding figure for 1965.
