Next stage?
Mr. O'Higgins:
When will the Bill be circulated?
Mr. Colley:
I am sorry, that date is for circulation and then take it a week later.
Mr. O'Higgins:
Circulate it by——
Mr. Colley:
By Tuesday, 9th June, and then take it the following week, on 16th June.
Mr. O'Higgins:
The Minister could not circulate it before that?
Mr. Colley:
If I can I will, but I would not like to undertake that.
Mr. Corish:
What about 10th June?
Mr. Colley:
I have suggested this arrangement and Deputy Corish knows the significance of what I have suggested. It is always subject to the arrangement of business. I do not have to tell the Deputy that.
Mr. Corish:
The Minister should consult with the House.
Mr. Tully:
What is the cause of the delay?
An Ceann Comhairle:
The Bill can be ordered for the 10th and, if necessary, taken later.
Mr. Colley:
If Deputy Corish Wishes——
Mr. O'Higgins:
If it is complicated and can only be circulated on the 9th we might not be able to take it.
Mr. Colley:
We can get together on that.
An Ceann Comhairle:
Is the Second Stage ordered for 10th June?
Mr. Colley:
Circulated on the 9th and ordered for 16th.
Second Stage ordered for Tuesday, 16th June, 1970.
Mr. O'Higgins:
Will that be the only financial legislation?
Mr. Colley:
No. There is the Decimal Currency Bill and the Central Bank Bill.
Mr. O'Higgins:
Will the Minister go ahead with these in this session?
Mr. Colley:
Yes. They are small Bills.
