Mr. R. Burke:
asked the Minister for Education the projected requirements for girls' post primary education in the Rathfarnham district of County Dublin over the next three years; and if he will outline the steps which he is taking to satisfy the demand.
Mr. Faulkner:
The position in the Rathfarnham area has recently been reviewed by the Dublin advisory council. It has been estimated that 1,350 post primary places for girls will be [1322] required by 1975. There are 750 places available at present in the existing schools. An additional 400 places will be provided in Sancta Maria College and a further 200 places in the proposed new vocational school.
