Mr. Kavanagh: asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each year since 1961 for Wicklow County Council and Kildare County Council the amount of money expended from all sources on housing, indicating the number of houses built in each case.

NOTES:— (i) Figures for current expenditure are net amounts after allowing for receipts from loan repayments by borrowers, rents and purchase annuities, etc. They represent, therefore the amounts met by subsidies from central and local taxation.
(ii) Figures for capital expenditure are for expenditure on the building of local authority houses, or the making of house purchase loans and supplementary grants, etc. They do not include expenditure on State grants.
