Mr. Desmond: Information on Barry Desmond  Zoom on Barry Desmond  asked the Minister for Finance the total interest payable in 1970-71 and 1971-72 on the foreign borrowing of the State.

Mr. Colley: Information on George Colley  Zoom on George Colley  The total amount of interest payable on foreign borrowing by the Government in 1970-71 was £4.7 million and in 1971-72 was £6.6 million.
