Mr. L'Estrange: Information on Gerald L'Estrange  Zoom on Gerald L'Estrange  asked the Minister for Lands the total acreage of land acquired for forestry for the past 12 years and afterwards sold, let or handed back to his Department for agricultural purposes.

Minister for Lands (Mr. S. Flanagan): Information on Seán Flanagan  Zoom on Seán Flanagan  Statistics of land disposed of by the Forest and Wildlife Service are not maintained in such a way as to make the information requested by the Deputy readily available. The extraction of the information would entail an inordinate amount of time on the part of the officers of my Department.
