The Taoiseach:
It is proposed to take Nos. 1, 3, 25, 4 to 24 and 26. Sittings during the remainder of the week will be as follows: Wednesday and Thursday 10.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m., Friday 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mr. Andrews:
With your permission, Sir——
An Ceann Comhairle:
If the Deputy is going to refer to the previous matter, the Chair cannot allow it.
Mr. Andrews:
No. With your permission, Sir, due to the unsatisfactory nature of the Minister's answer to the private notice question I wish to raise the matter on the Adjournment.
An Ceann Comhairle:
The Chair will communicate with the Deputy.
Mr. Briscoe:
I hope the Deputy will get more information.
Mr. Blaney:
May I ask the Taoiseach when, if we do adjourn this week as seems likely, we are likely to resume?
The Taoiseach:
I will announce that on the Adjournment debate.
[1592]Mr. J. Lynch:
On the order of Business, the Taoiseach announced the times of sittings for the remainder of the week. I take it they are subject to change if necessary?
The Taoiseach:
I understand that agreement has been reached but if there is any variation from that, perhaps it could be discussed by the Whips.
Mr. J. Lynch:
The position was fluid as of last week when the Bill which is about to come before the House was adjourned.
The Taoiseach:
I understood prior to the introduction of that Bill that it had been agreed but, perhaps, it could be discussed between the Whips.
