Dr. Gibbons: Information on Hugh Gibbons  Zoom on Hugh Gibbons  asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that students who have passed their final medical examination and who must spend a post-qualification year in recognised hospitals have difficulty in obtaining suitable positions; if he has any proposals to meet this difficulty; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Mr. Corish: Information on Brendan Corish  Zoom on Brendan Corish  I am not aware of any such difficulties. If the Deputy has any specific cases of difficulty in mind I shall be pleased to investigate them if he supplies particulars.
