Mr. Connolly: Information on Gerard C. Connolly  Zoom on Gerard C. Connolly  asked the Minister for Finance why a person (name supplied) in County Offaly who is employed by the Office of Public Works is not receiving equal pay with persons employed in a similar position by this office in other areas.

Minister for Finance (Mr. R. Ryan): Information on Richie Ryan  Zoom on Richie Ryan  The person referred to is in receipt of the maximum rate of pay appropriate to his grade. I am satisfied that his grading is at the correct level having regard to the duties and responsibilities of his post.
