Mr. Bruton: Information on John Bruton  Zoom on John Bruton  asked the Minister for Agriculture when he proposes to establish the new grain marketing and [960] information board; and if he will state its composition, budget and functions with particular reference to EEC regulations.

Mr. Hussey: Information on Thomas Hussey  Zoom on Thomas Hussey  As this is one of the matters which I am at present considering in the context of a general review of our cereal marketing arrangements, I am not yet in a position to give my final conclusions on it.

Mr. Bruton: Information on John Bruton  Zoom on John Bruton  May I take it the commitment to introduce such a board still stands?

Mr. Hussey: Information on Thomas Hussey  Zoom on Thomas Hussey  As I said, this is one of the matters at present being considered.

Mr. Bruton: Information on John Bruton  Zoom on John Bruton  Is it being considered with a view to not going ahead with it or is it just a question of the means whereby it may be implemented? Does the commitment still stand?

Mr. Bruton: Information on John Bruton  Zoom on John Bruton  Fianna Fáil were very specific in the election manifesto.

Mr. D'Arcy: Information on Michael D'Arcy  Zoom on Michael D'Arcy  When can we expect some finality in the matter.
