Mr. Deasy: Information on Austin Deasy  Zoom on Austin Deasy  asked the Minister for Education if he will make a grant available for the erection of a sports complex in Dungarvan, County Waterford, on land provided by the local urban council.

Minister for Education (Mr. Wilson): Information on John P. Wilson  Zoom on John P. Wilson  While approaches were made in 1974 to my Department with a view to its making grants available to the local post-primary schools towards the cost of a sports hall as part of a sports complex in Dungarvan, no specific proposals in that regard were submitted subsequently by the local interests involved.
