Mr. Tully: Information on James Tully  Zoom on James Tully  asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the average fuel cost per unit of electricity generated by the ESB, before transmission on the grid, (a) in the oil-fired stations, (b) in the coal-fired stations, (c) in peat-fired stations, and (d) in hydro stations.

O'Malley  The information requested by the Deputy, as furnished to me by the ESB, is as follows: (a) oil-fired stations, 1.232p; (b) coal-fired stations, 1.875p; (c) peat-fired stations, 1.028p (Sod Peat), 0.772p (Milled Peat); (d) hydro stations, Nil.
