Mr. M. O'Leary:
asked the Minister for Labour the amount of money the country has received from the Social Fund since our entry to the European Community, the break-up of the amounts received each year, the firms which have benefited in respect of each of the years in question and the projects which have been sponsored through the fund.

The total amount of money received from the European Social Fund to date is £45,458,171.06. The amount received each year is as follows:

A list of projects aided from the fund was circulated in reply to Question No. 162 on 14 February 1979.
It has not been possible in the time available to compile the list of firms which benefited each year. The information will be sent to the Deputy at an early date.
