Mr. O'Keeffe: Information on Jim O'Keeffe  Zoom on Jim O'Keeffe  asked the Minister for Agriculture the length of delay under the farm modernisation scheme between (i) notification of completion of a project and inspection; and (ii) inspection and actual payment.

Mr. Hussey: Information on Thomas Hussey  Zoom on Thomas Hussey  On average inspections are carried out within two weeks of receipt of notification from the applicant that the work has been completed. The grant is normally paid within four weeks thereafter.
