The custodial accommodation planned for Wheatfield provides for 192 male juveniles and for 40 women. To date £4.468 million has been spent on the project and a further £2.308 million has been contracted for. Tenders have not yet been invited for the custodial buildings and, accordingly, total costings cannot be given at this stage.
