Mr. Donnellan: Information on John F. Donnellan  Zoom on John F. Donnellan  asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Ward estate at Bodaun, Tuam, County Galway has been sold; if so, to whom it has been sold; and if the sale of the land has been sanctioned.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Lenihan): Information on Brian Lenihan Snr.  Zoom on Brian Lenihan Snr.  The Land Commission understand that the holding in question has been sold but they have no precise details of the transaction. Their formal sanction for the sale has not been sought; such sanction is required only in certain well-defined circumstances.
