Minister for Justice (Mr. Noonan):
I move:
That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 105 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Bankruptcy Bill, 1982, which had reached Second Stage prior to the dissolution of the Dáil on 4th November, 1982, be restored to the Order Paper.
Mr. Haughey:
Perhaps that is a Bill that should go to a Committee.
Mr. Lenihan:
We are talking about Committee procedures in a sense.
The Taoiseach:
We will certainly consider that with the Opposition.
Mr. Haughey:
As a matter of interest might I remind the House that when I was Minister for Justice about 22 years ago I set up the committee to start work on that Bill.
An Ceann Comhairle:
When the Chair was a Senator the Leader of the Opposition was Minister for Justice.
[419]The Taoiseach:
Nostalgic.
