Mr. E. O'Keeffe: Information on Ned O'Keeffe  Zoom on Ned O'Keeffe  asked the Minister for the Environment when traffic and parking by-laws for Cork city and county will be sanctioned; and if he will make a statement on the reason for the delay.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Spring): Information on Dick Spring  Zoom on Dick Spring  I hope to approve of these by-laws shortly. Clearance of them has been held up pending completion of a detailed examination of a draft which will serve as a model for traffic and parking by-laws for areas such as Cork.
