Mr. Wallace: Information on Dan Wallace  Zoom on Dan Wallace  asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state, in view of the lack of post office facilities in the Knocknaheeny area, Cork, with 1,500 homes and a population of 8,000 [1802] and the inconvenience being caused to the people of the area, when it is intended to locate a post office there.

Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. J. Mitchell): Information on Jim Mitchell  Zoom on Jim Mitchell  It is intended to establish a post office at Knocknaheeny in the near future. Applications for appointment as postmaster/postmistress will be invited shortly.
