Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Mr. Barrett,:
Dún Laoghaire: There is agreement between the Whips to the following arrangement: Resolution No. 1 will be discussed separately; Resolutions Nos, 2, 3 and 4, no discussion; Resolutions Nos. 5 and 7 to be discussed together and voted on separately; Resolution No. 6, no discussion; Resolution Nos. 8, 9 and 10 to be discussed separately and voted on separately.
Mr. B. Ahern:
Our hope is to improve a little on last year when the Opposition had great difficulty about discussing the Resolutions. This year we have arranged informal agreement about time, as follows: Resolution No. 1 to be concluded [897] at 7.30; there will be no discussion on Nos. 2, 3 and 4 and therefore time will not be spent on them; Resolutions Nos. 5 and 7 will be taken together and will be voted on separately at 8.45; Resolution No. 8, which is being taken on its own, will be voted on at 10.30. No. 9 will be taken on its own and voted on at 11.15; and Resolution No. 10 will be concluded at 12 midnight.
Mr. Barrett:
(Dún Laoghaire): Those arrangements have been agreed.
An Leas-Cheann Comhairle:
are they agreeable to the House?
