Mr. Browne: Information on John Browne  Zoom on John Browne  asked the Minister for Education the money made available in grants for free school books to a primary school (details supplied) in County Wexford in 1981-82, 1982-83 and 1983-84.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): Information on Gemma Hussey  Zoom on Gemma Hussey  It would not be in accordance with normal practice to give details of the grants paid to individual schools. The general rate of grant was £4 per pupil in respect of the 1981-82 school-year and £5 per pupil in respect of the 1982-83 and 1983-84 school-years.
