Dr. O'Hanlon:
asked the Minister for Education when school transport will be provided for a child (details supplied) in County Cavan to attend the day care centre at the Holy Family School, Cootehill, County Cavan.
Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey):
Transport for children attending day care centres is a matter for the Department of Health. My Department may sanction transport on school transport services for such children on a purely incidental basis subject to the availability of accommodation and on condition that no extra cost is incurred.
CIE have been requested to facilitate the child on this basis.
