Mr. G. Collins:
asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of house improvement grants to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh):
There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.
Mr. G. Collins:
asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh):
There has been no undue delay in my Department in dealing with this case. The £1,000 new house grant will be paid as soon as possible.
Mr. J. Fahey:
asked the Minister [17] for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh):
My Department are awaiting notification of completion of work in this case so that an inspection can be carried out with a view to payment of the grant approved.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Kavanagh):
A house improvement grant cannot be allowed in this case as a grant of £750 has already been approved by Roinn na Gaeltachta for the proposed works.
