Dáil Eireann Debate
Mr. Deasy: asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in County Waterford was not paid the approved amount of £4,444 in respect of a house improvement grant; and if it was due to confusion arising from the person's surname.
Mr. Boland: asked the Minister for the Environment if arrangements will be made for an early final inspection, with a view to payment, of a house improvement grant for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.
Mr. Aylward: asked the Minister for the Environment if documents, requested by his Department, sent by registered post by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny have now reached his Department; and, if so, if he will make arrangements for an early inspection for a new house grant and early payment thereafter.
Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly): The documents requested have now been received. An inspection, by appointment, with a view to approval and payment of the £2,000 grant will be carried out as soon as possible.
