Mr. Nolan:
asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.
Minister of State at the Department of the Environment (Mr. Connolly):
A £2,000 new house grant cannot be paid in this case as, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, the applicant has not occupied the house on completion as his normal place of residence. The receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant is awaited in connection with the £2,250 `builders' grant.
