Mr. J. O'Keeffe:
asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs in respect of each semi-State or other body submitting an annual report to his Department, the dates on which their 1988 annual reports were (a) received by him, (b) laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and (c) circulated to Members where applicable.
Minister for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Collins):
The position in regard to bodies which submitted their 1988 annual reports and accounts to my Department is as follows:
The report of the Scholarship Exchange Board for the year ended 31 [1049] March 1989 will shortly be laid before each House of the Oireachtas in keeping with statutory requirements and I will be glad to make copies available to Members.
None of the other bodies are Statutory bodies and there is no requirement on them to either lay their annual reports before the Houses of the Oireachtas or to have them circulated to Members. The Agency for Personal Service Overseas (APSO) has, in the past, circulated Members with its annual reports.
