  83.  Mr. McGinley  Information on Dinny McGinley  Zoom on Dinny McGinley   asked the Minister for Education  Information on Mary O'Rourke  Zoom on Mary O'Rourke   if there are plans to provide a new vocational school in Stranorlar, County Donegal; the present stage of planning; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): Information on Mary O'Rourke  Zoom on Mary O'Rourke  Architectural planning of a proposed new vocational school in Stranorlar, County Donegal, has reached stage four (working drawings) of my Department's design team procedures.

In common with all school building projects in planning, this project is currently being reviewed in the context of pupil enrolments for both the short and long term. As soon as this review is completed a decision will be taken as to the best course of action for the proposed school.
