  83.  Mr. Cowen      asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food      when the balance of a (1) suckler cow grant, (2) calf premium scheme grant and (3) a special beef premium scheme grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. O'Kennedy):    This applicant's payments under the 1989 calf premium, special beef premium, suckler cow premium and cattle and equines headage schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.

  84.  Mr. O'Leary      asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food      when a ewe premium grant in respect of 1989 will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. O'Kennedy):    The 1989 ewe premium will be paid to the person named when payments commence in July provided he has complied with all the terms and conditions of the scheme.
