Mr. Stagg
asked the
Minister for the Environment
if he has made any provision for the extension of the sewerage system in Rathangan, County Kildare to serve the Newtown Road area of the town; if he has received details of the proposed scheme from Kildare County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Minister for the Environment (Mr. Flynn):
There is no proposal with my Department from Kildare County Council regarding an extension to the sewerage scheme in Rathangan to serve the Newtown Road area of the town. The question of providing funds does not therefore arise.
