Mr. Crowley
asked the
Minister for Education
if she will consider the rerouting of a school transport service in an area (details supplied) in County Cork as requested by local parents.
Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke):
The children in question live between 0.5 miles and 0.8 miles from the route of the service which operates to Kilcreedon national school, Castlemartyr, County Cork. The present service is regarded as being of reasonable standard in the context of the general operation of the scheme.
