asked the
Minister for Finance
when a rebate on excise duty which was paid by persons (details supplied) in County Louth at a cross-border customs post where they presented receipts for the goods, will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The cases to which the Deputy refers are under consideration and a decision will be made in due course.
