Asked the minister: whether there has been an increase in the number of strikes and industrial disputes in recent times; and, if so, his views as to the causes thereof and the solutions thereto.

Asked the minister: the reason given by Switzerland at the recent EC/EFTA ministerial meeting for (1) threatening to pull out of the negotiations and (2) stating that it would not be bound by any formal treaty.
