The Taoiseach: Information on Albert Reynolds  Zoom on Albert Reynolds  A Cheann Comhairle, I beg leave to announce, for the information of the Dáil:

(1) that, having informed the President that Dáil Éireann had approved my nomination of Deputies to be members of the Government, the President, on 11 February 1992, appointed them accordingly,

(2) that, on the same date, I nominated John P. Wilson to be the Tánaiste;

(3) that, on the same date, I assigned the Departments of State to the members of the Government as follows:

Noel Dempsey Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach, (with special responsibility as Government Chief Whip);
and Mary Harney Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, (with special responsibility for the office for the Protection of the Environment);
and

(6) that, today, the Government appointed the following Deputies to be Ministers of State with the responsibilities as indicated:

Mary O'Rourke Minister of State at the Department of Industry and Commerce, (with special responsibility for Trade and Marketing);
Brendan Daly Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs;
