  95.  Mr. Gregory  Information on Tony Gregory  Zoom on Tony Gregory   asked the Minister for Health  Information on John F. O'Connell  Zoom on John F. O'Connell   if he intends to publish the findings of the report of the National Aids Strategy Committee.

Minister for Health (Dr. O'Connell): Information on John F. O'Connell  Zoom on John F. O'Connell  I do not propose to publish the report of the National AIDS Strategy Committee in the formal sense. The reports have, however, been circulated, as appropriate, to relevant organisations, as follows:-

— each health board

[1275]— the Department of Education

— the Department of Justice

— the Department of Social Welfare

— the Department of Labour

— the Department of the Environment and

— the Medical Council.

In order to implement the recommendations contained in the reports, I recently allocated over £2 million in additional funds. These funds will supplement existing programmes and services and will enable new projects to commence. The additional funding will, in particular, assist the voluntary sector to develop its role in the delivery of the AIDS Strategy.
