Dáil Éireann Debate
An Ceann Comhairle: Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with a notice of motion under Standing Order 30 from Deputy Deasy. I now call on Deputy Deasy to state the matter of which he has given notice to me.
Mr. Deasy: I hereby request the Adjournment of the Dáil in accordance with Standing Order 30 so that this House can discuss the urgent and important matter of reform of the Common Agricultural Policy.
An Ceann Comhairle: Yes, indeed, Deputy. The matter to which you refer is ongoing and Deputy Deasy or, indeed, any other Deputy, has ample opportunity to raise it under ordinary notice or by way of questions. I understand that questions appertaining to agriculture will be heard in this House next week.
