  47.  Mr. Sheehan  Information on P. J. Sheehan  Zoom on P. J. Sheehan   asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food  Information on Joe Walsh  Zoom on Joe Walsh   whether farmers who are situated in the areas throughout the country who were successful under the extension of the disadvantaged areas scheme last year will qualify for cattle headage payments under the 1992 cattle headage scheme.

Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. Walsh): Information on Joe Walsh  Zoom on Joe Walsh  Farmers whose holdings are situated in the areas throughout the country that were successful under the extension of the disadvantaged areas scheme last year will qualify for cattle headage payments under the 1992 cattle and equines headage scheme provided, of course, they comply with the terms and conditions of the scheme. They were also eligible for disadvantaged areas scheme grants in 1991.
